Attracting action of the traditional AC contactors depends on electromagnet, and current is needed to maintain the running. During the process of attracting and release, influenced by some factors like voltage fluctuation and original operating time, larger arc zone is incidental to come into being; especially, the voltage drop that is resulted in from the drift of net voltage or the startup of high power equipments, will make the current maintaining electromagnet to change, bringing on change of magnetic field force and violent vibration of the contacts, so that noise is resulted in. The contact will be burn out, or ever worse, accidents will happen.
The essential distinction between permanent magnetism AC contactors and the traditional contactors lies in the difference of principles. We use permanent magnets with special performance, instead of the traditional electromagnetic mechanism, together with microelectronic modules to compose control device. Working current is needless and a small amount of signal current (0.8!1.5mA) supports the control module to complete the magnet conversion of iron core and to realize attracting of AC contactors.
